Jordan Porter, RVT, LVT, VTS (SAIM)

Jordan joined IMFPP in October 2019 after obtaining her VTS in Small Animal Internal Medicine. She's passionate about internal medicine and works closely with Yvonne on the Internal Medicine For Vet Techs Podcast, and helps keep everything running smoothly, just like the Rock Star tech she is!
Jordan is also the 2020-2022 Secretary & Treasurer for Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians.
She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Institute at Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio in 2008 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. Shortly after graduating, she moved to South Carolina, passed the VTNE, and became licensed. She worked in general practice for 7 years before making the change to a specialty practice.
In 2015, Jordan became licensed in Georgia also and began working for an internal medicine and intensive care practice. She has a love for hematological disorders and specialty nursing care, including client communication. She obtained her veterinary technician specialist certification in 2019 in small animal internal medicine.
In her spare time, she is active in outdoor activities with her husband and two human children including fishing, kayaking, boating and everything in-between. At home, her house is even more chaotic when you add 5 dogs into the mix.
